The Legion of Honor, formally known as the California Palace of the Legion of Honor, is an art museum in San Francisco, California. Located in Lincoln Park, the Legion of Honor is a component of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, which also administers the de Young Museum.
The National Order of the Legion of Honour (French: Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur [ɔʁdʁ nɑsjɔnal də la leʒjɔ̃ dɔnœʁ]), formerly the Royal Order of the Legion of Honour (Ordre royal de la Légion d'honneur), is the highest French order of merit, both military and civil.
El Museo "Legion de Honor" (del inglés: The Legion of Honor) (anteriormente, California Palace of Legion of Honor) es un museo de bellas artes de la ciudad de San Francisco (California, Estados Unidos). Junto con el museo M. H. de Young Memorial Museum, conforma el conjunto de Fine Art Museums (Museos de Bellas Artes) de la ciudad.
Legion of Honor is a neoclassical museum inspired by the French pavilion at the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition. It houses four thousand years of European and ancient art, including the largest collection of works on paper in the American West.
