Ivo van Hove (born 28 October 1958) is a Belgian theatre director known as the artistic director of Toneelgroep Amsterdam in the Netherlands and for his Off-Broadway avant-garde experimental theatre productions.
Ivo van Hove is a renowned Belgian theatre director who has staged productions of classic and contemporary plays, operas and musicals around the world. He was the artistic leader of Internationaal Theater Amsterdam from 2001 to 2023 and received many awards for his innovative and provocative work.
