David Louis Newman (born March 11, 1954) is an American composer and conductor known particularly for his film scores. In a career spanning more than thirty years, he has composed music for nearly 100 feature films, as well as the 1997 and 1998 versions of the 20th Century Fox fanfare.
Another instance of coattail riding by me. This time, I look at the career of one of my favorite working composers: the incredibly talented (and underrated) David Newman.
