Matthew Charles Eberflus ( / ˈiːbərfluːs / EE-bər-flooss; born May 17, 1970) is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2021.
Matt Eberflus enters his third year in Chicago in 2024 after being named the 17th head coach in franchise history on January 27th, 2022. Eberflus comes into the 2024 season with 32 years of coaching experience, including 15 in the National Football League.
