  1. Matthew Charles Eberflus ( / ˈiːbərfluːs / EE-bər-flooss; born May 17, 1970) is an American football coach who is the head coach for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2021.
