Lee Sang-hwa (Korean: 이상화; Hanja: 李相花, Korean pronunciation: [i.saŋ.ɦwa]; born 25 February 1989) is a South Korean retired speed skater who specialises in the sprint distances. She is a two-time Olympic champion in 500 metres (2010 and 2014) and the 2010 World Sprint champion.

9 de may. de 2019 · Lee Sang-Hwa, a two-time Olympic 500m champion and the fastest woman ever in that sprint, has retired, according to South Korean media. Lee, 30, had not competed on the World Cup since taking silver at the PyeongChang Olympics, where she was one of the host nation’s most high-profile athletes.
The former speed skating rivals and friends met again at the Gangneung Oval, where they both won gold medals at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. They shared their memories and hopes for the next generation of athletes at the Youth Olympic Games.
