Gemma Bonner (born 13 July 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Women's Super League club Liverpool, and appeared for the England national team. Bonner began her career with her hometown club Leeds United, before spending two seasons with Chelsea. In November 2012, Bonner signed for Liverpool.
Gemma Bonner is a defender and captain of Liverpool FC Women, who returned to the club in January 2023 after six years away. She has won two Women's Super League titles with the Reds and played for England at senior level.

24 de dic. de 2022 · The defender returns to the club after a spell in the USA with Racing Louisville FC, where she won a Women’s Cup. She captained the Reds to two WSL titles and has 11 England caps.
Bonner returned north and was appointed captain, leading her side to back-to-back league titles in 2013 and 2014. She joined City with a wealth of experience behind her – both for club and country. Having represented England at youth level for the Under-17, U19s, U20s and U23s, she earned her first senior cap in 2013 and has made ten appearances for the Lionesses’ first-team.
