Henry "Hen" Pearce (7 May 1777, in Bristol – 30 April 1809, at St. Martin's Lane, London) was an English bare-knuckle prizefighter who fought under the London Prize Ring rules and was the recognised English Champion from 1804 until his retirement due to ill health in 1807.
Henry Pearce was known as the Game Chicken because he liked to sign his name “Hen,” and he was as scrappy as a fighting cock in the pit. He was a champion of England back when gloves, called mufflers, were used for sparring, but bare fists were used for fighting.

Pearce was, by all accounts, a teak-tough man, with a touch of gallantry to him as well. He never lost a single prize fight, and could count among his victims such legendary figures as Joe Bourke, John Gully and Jem Belcher.
