Mart Poom (born 3 February 1972) is an Estonian football coach and former professional player regarded as one of the greatest Estonian footballers of all time. He is currently the goalkeeping coach of the Estonia national team.

13 de nov. de 2019 · Mart Poom was the first Estonian to play in the Premier League, joining Derby County in 1997 and later Sunderland. He turned down Manchester United and Arsenal, but struggled with injuries and relegation battles.
Mart Poom. Mart Poom was coming to the end of his career when he joined Arsenal from Sunderland in January 2006. The Estonia international made his name in English football with Derby County, where he spent six years before joining the Black Cats on a permanent deal in 2003.
