Jason Raize Rothenberg (July 20, 1975 – February 3, 2004), known professionally as Jason Raize, was an American actor, singer, and former Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme.

Jason Raize, born July 20, 1975, grew up as Jason Rothenberg in the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. One of three adopted children, Jason knew nothing about his birth parents or ethnicity. “Because I have an interesting ethnic look, people would always ask me what I was,” he said on his official site.
Jason Raize, who played Simba in The Lion King on Broadway, took his own life in Australia in 2004. He was also an environmental activist and a singer who performed in various musicals and TV shows.
Jason Raize was born on 20 July 1975 in Oneonta, New York, USA. He was an actor, known for Brother Bear (2003), The Lion King (1997) and Brother Bear (2003). He died on 3 February 2004 in Yass, New South Wales, Australia.
