Bud Tingwell was an Australian actor who appeared in more than 100 films and TV shows in Australia and the UK. He was also a pilot, a radio announcer and a war veteran who flew in the Mediterranean Theatre during World War II.
Charles 'Bud' Tingwell was born on 3 January 1923 in Coogee, New South Wales, Australia. He was an actor and director, known for Breaker Morant (1980), Murder She Said (1961) and Ned Kelly (2003). He was married to Audrey Wilson. He died on 15 May 2009 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
