Hrant Alianak (born 1950), also billed as Harant Alianak or Grant Aljanak, is a Sudanese-Armenian-Canadian actor and playwright. He gained notoriety as Dr. Jon Mendez in Pontypool.
Hrant Alianak is a Khartoum-born Armenian-Canadian actor who has appeared in over 150 TV shows and films. He also wrote, directed and produced two feature films, Burning, Burning and A Trip to the Island, and won an award for his performance in Family Viewing.
