Geoffrey Heath’s photographic series Circle of Love presents conceptual and meticulously fabricated scenes within the suburban domestic space inspired by his upbringing in the North Shore. The photographs are an unnervingly humorous take on the mundanely ordinary.

Heavily influenced by his North Shore upbringing and the sense of alienation he felt within it, his semi-autobiographical practice offers us wry and darkly humorous observations of suburban life.
20 de abr. de 2021 · Geoffrey Heath passed away peacefully on Monday morning earlier this week. I'm sure this is very sad news to all of us who knew him. Geoffrey was involved with Aylesbury Opera Group from the start, most often accompanying rehearsals and playing the bassoon in the pit. But he also appeared on stage and directed/conducted several productions.
Geoffrey Heath Wedgwood was a pre-eminent engraver with noted Liverpool connections. He studied at the Liverpool School of Art from 1919-1921. In 1925 he won the prestigious Prix de Rome in Engraving. He returned to teach at the Liverpool Institute and later the School of Art in the 1930s.
