William Conklin (25 de diciembre de 1872 – 21 de marzo de 1935), fue un actor estadounidense que trabajó en el cine mudo. Nacido en Brooklyn, Nueva York, actuó en 85 filmes entre 1913 y 1929. Abstract. Conklin's thesis is that the tradition of modern legal positivism, beginning with Thomas Hobbes, postulated different senses of the invisible as the authorising origin of humanly posited laws. Conklin re-reads the tradition by privileging how the canons share a particular understanding of legal language as written.
