John Glynn Edwards (2 February 1931 – 23 May 2018) was a British television and cinema character actor, who came to national prominence for his portrayal of the barman Dave Harris in the 1970s–1990s British television comedy-drama Minder.
Glynn Edwards (1931-2018) was a British actor who played Dave, the bartender in Minder (1979), and appeared in many other TV shows and films. He also directed a documentary about his life and career, and performed in a Marillion music video.

The popular actor, who The Daily Telegraph reports died on the 23 rd May , enjoyed a long acting career, but to Minder fans, he will always be loveable Dave, the barman at Arthur Daley’s favourite pub, the Winchester club.
