James Ronald Horn (born November 20, 1940) is an American saxophonist, woodwind player, and session musician. [1] Biography. Horn was born in Los Angeles, and after replacing saxophonist Steve Douglas in 1959, he toured with member Duane Eddy for five years, playing sax and flute on the road, and in the recording studio. [2] .

Two giant artists helped hand out the ice-picks: Garth Brooks and Wynonna. Brooks invited Jim to play on his #1 album, In Pieces, which features Jim's critically acclaimed sax solo on One Night a Day. Horn also played on Wynonna's triple-platinum album Tell Me Why.
