Edge of the Century is the twelfth studio album by Styx, released in 1990 on A&M Records. It was the first Styx album featuring A&M solo artist Glen Burtnik and the final album to feature drummer John Panozzo before his death in 1996.
Why? Because Tommy Shaw is a legendary musician of the early prog era. Most famous for his role as lead guitarist and co-lead singer in the genre-blurring Chicago band Styx, he helped transform a relatively promising act into a world-conquering musical force.

Tommy Roland Shaw (born September 11, 1953) is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter best known for his tenure in the rock band Styx as co-lead vocalist.
