William Kreutzmann Jr. ( / ˈkrɔɪtsmɑːn / KROYTS-mahn; [1] born May 7, 1946) [2] is an American drummer and founding member of the rock band Grateful Dead.
Wanted Dead Or Alive. A half live, half studio album that features members of the Grateful Dead on the studio tracks. The tracks involving members of the Grateful Dead were recorded at Wally Heider's Studio in San Francisco on June 21-24, 1972.

The title Wanted Dead or Alive is a play on words, referring to how the record was created. Side one of the LP was recorded in the studio with various musicians, including four members of the Grateful Dead − Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Keith Godchaux and Bill Kreutzmann. Side two was recorded live.
