The Movement is an American reggae band originally formed in Columbia, South Carolina, in 2003. The two founding members, Josh Swain and Jordan Miller, then relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where they acquired a live rhythm section in the form of local Philadelphia musicians Jay Schmidt and Gary Jackson.
Today the band consists of founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Joshua Swain, bassist Jason Schmidt, drummer Gary Jackson, keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Matt Goodwin, and saxophonist/percussionist Kyle Jerome.

29 de jul. de 2022 · In “ Afraid ” singer Joshua Swain encourages us to not be afraid anymore and to tackle our obstacles head on. The song features such a cool dub vibe with a thumping bass and drum tempo. Swain absolutely destroys his vocals and delivery as he does throughout the entire record.
