Bridget Bendish (née Ireton) (1650–1726), was a daughter of General Henry Ireton and Bridget, Oliver Cromwell's eldest daughter. She was born in Attenborough, Nottinghamshire, England. She married Thomas Bendish, a distant relative of Sir Thomas Bendish, 2nd Baronet, in 1670.

By his wife, Bridget Cromwell, Ireton left one son, Henry Ireton (circa 1652–1711), [12] and four daughters, one of whom, Bridget Bendish (she married Thomas Bendish in 1670) is said to have compromised herself in the Rye House Plot of 1683, as did Henry. [13]

The Bendish Baronetcy, of Steeple Bumpstead in the County of Essex, was a title in the Baronetage of England. It was created on 29 June 1611 for Thomas Bendish, High Sheriff of Essex for 1618 and 1630. The second Baronet was Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire from 1647 to 1655.
