Anson Funderburgh (born James Anson Funderburgh; November 14, 1954) is an American blues guitar player and bandleader of Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets since 1978. Their style incorporates both Chicago blues and Texas blues .
Out of Nowhere is an album by the American musician Snooks Eaglin, released in 1989. It was his second album for Black Top Records.
Funderburgh undeniably remains best known in the blues field for his extraordinarily concise lead guitar attack. In addition to anchoring his latest iteration of The Rockets, he’s been touring since 2010 with Bay Area-based harmonica player Mark Hummel as a prime factor in the Golden State-Lone Star Revue.

This is followed by an airy “Lipstick Traces”. “Young Girl” is given a slightly campy, C & W treatment. A jazzy instrumental “Out Of Nowhere” follows.
