The Mothers of Invention. Van Dyke Parks (born January 3, 1943) [6] is an American musician, songwriter, arranger, and record producer who has composed various film and television soundtracks. He is best known for his 1967 album Song Cycle and for his collaborations with Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys (particularly the album Smile ).

2 de jun. de 2023 · Van Dyke Parks used to be somebody. Some say one of the preeminent arrangers and pop artists in the world! Park s was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1943. He wrote lyrics for Brian Wilson’s celebrated SMiLE in 1966, which resulted in several Beach Boys hits.
