The possessions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad are a group of his items and possessions such as weapons, armor and clothing, including those known with unique names. There is doubt about the attribution of these possessions to Muhammad, as many of them were lost during wars and tribulations.

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) acquired his sword Dhu’l-Fiqaar on the day of Badr and this is the one that he saw in a dream on the day of Uhud.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, had nine swords. He inherited Ma'thur from his father, and it was the first sword he ever owned. He also possessed al-'Idhb and dhul-fiqhar or dhul-faqhar, which did not leave his sight. Dhul-Fiqar had a hilt, circular guard, tuft, buckles and a base made of silver.
