24 de abr. de 2024 · If the water pressure is sufficient, use a multimeter to check for power (continuity) to the water inlet valve. If the water inlet valve has sufficient pressure and is getting power, but the ice maker won’t fill with water to make ice, replace the water inlet valve.
Check the valve has enough water pressure. If water pressure is good, use a voltmeter to check the valve gets power. If the valve has pressure and power but the ice maker won't fill, replace the faulty water inlet valve.
Is the inlet valve clear of blockage? Is the water pressure normal? Barring those malfunctions, the problem could be solved by unplugging the fridge, removing the outlet tube that runs between the fill valve and the ice maker and clearing or replacing that tube.
