Corrosion of Conformity (also known as COC) is an American heavy metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina, formed in 1982. The band has undergone multiple lineup changes throughout its existence, with guitarist Woody Weatherman as the sole constant member.
Woody Weatherman is the guitarist and co-founder of C.O.C., a punk metal fusion band from North Carolina. He has been in the band since the early 1980s and has played on several albums, including "Blind", "Deliverance" and "No Cross No Crown".

However, after the release of debut album Eye For An Eye in 1984, Eric left, the remaining trio going on to record 1985’s Animosity, with Mike and Reed on vocals.
