Iain Stewart Macmillan (20 October 1938 – 8 May 2006) was the Scottish photographer famous for taking the cover photograph for the Beatles' album Abbey Road in 1969. He grew up in Scotland, then moved to London to become a professional photographer.
Ian McMillan FRSL (born 21 January 1956) is an English poet, journalist, playwright, and broadcaster. He is known for his strong and distinctive Yorkshire accent and his incisive, friendly interview style on programmes such as BBC Radio 3's The Verb. He lives in Darfield, the village of his birth.
Scottish photographer Iain MacMillan (1938 – 2006) worked with Yoko Ono in 1966. She commissioned MacMillan to document her exhibition at London’s Indica gallery, and was introduced to John Lennon who later invited MacMillan to photograph the Abbey Road cover.

Ian MacMillan is an emeritus professor at Wharton who studies entrepreneurship, new venture management, organizational competence, and strategic management. He has held various leadership positions at Wharton and has a DBA from University of South Africa.
