Richard Darryl Way (born 17 December 1948 in Taunton, Somerset, England) [1] is an English rock and classical musician who was a founding member of Curved Air and co-writer of their Progressive Rock seminal albums from 1970 to 1976. He is best known as a violinist although he also plays keyboards.
8 de mar. de 2016 · Expresso II is an album by Pierre Moerlen's Gong, issued in 1978. Like the other Pierre Moerlen's Gong albums, the album is predominantly jazz-fusion and has little to do with the psychedelic space rock of Daevid Allen 's Gong, even though the bands share a common history.

Allan Holdsworth's signature guitar opens "Sleepy," but Darryl Way also lends his violin. But the second side's "Soli" is the pinnacle. With Holdsworth's thick guitar lines leading the way, the combination of Rowe's rubbery bass, Bauer and Benoît's percussion is jazz-rock at its finest.
