F Minus is a horizontally oriented single panel comic strip by Tony Carrillo, started when he was a sophomore at Arizona State University. It ran daily in The State Press, an independent newspaper at ASU, from early 2003 until late 2004, when Carrillo graduated.
The school system created the "F-Minus-Minus" grade as a way to shock slackers and cheaters. Instead it opened a gateway to depressed students, destroyed lives, and a black market for said slackers fueled by students desperate enough to do anything to avoid getting such a black mark on their files.
F-Minus was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1995 in Huntington Beach, California, United States, started by Jen Johnson and Brad Logan. F-Minus was known for their dueling male and female vocals in songs that were sometimes as short as 12 seconds ("Fuck You O.C.").
