24 de oct. de 2023 · While the vast majority of bands – progressive or otherwise – experience comings and goings, Galahad’s world was particularly rocked by two exits: one voluntary and one, sadly, involuntary. In 2015 Roy Keyworth, the band’s guitarist since 1985, quietly exited stage left.

Founder member Roy Keyworth left the band in March 2017. Producer Karl Groom filled in for Keyworth on the band's Quiet Storms album released in May 2017, [4] but did not join the band full-time.
5 de jun. de 2017 · Within the last year, long time guitarist and founding member Roy Keyworth has left Galahad, and this may partly explain why this album prominently features the keyboards of Baker and the voice of Nicholson, with much less in the way of guitars.
11 de abr. de 2018 · This is Galahad at their most atmospheric and unpredictable. One minute they channel powerful metal accompanied by sweeping strings, the next they sample Edith Piaf in a disorientating synth rock wilderness. They then build back up to an anthemic, optimistic arena rock crescendo, punctuated by Roy Keyworth’s riveting fret shredding.
The album opener De-Fi-Ance makes this clear immediately - pastoral female vocals establish some tension first until the band suddenly destroys this peaceful mood with a heavy wall of sounds - speaking of bombastic keyboards by Dean Baker, Roy Keyworth's heavy riffing guitar and a high-pressure rhythm branch.
