Der Spielfilm Der Baader Meinhof Komplex aus dem Jahr 2008 schildert Vorgeschichte und Aktionen der linksextremistischen Terrorgruppe Rote Armee Fraktion (RAF) von 1967 bis 1977. Das von Produzent Bernd Eichinger verfasste Drehbuch folgt weitgehend dem gleichnamigen Sachbuch von Stefan Aust (erstmals erschienen Ende 1985 [3] ).
