Jürgen Rosenthal ( Rosengarten, 28 de julio de 1948) es un músico y letrista alemán, conocido por haber sido baterista en la banda de hard rock y heavy metal Scorpions durante los años 1973 y 1974, y por cumplir misma labor en Eloy entre los años 1976 y 1979.
Jürgen Rosenthal is a German rock drummer. Biography. Rosenthal was a member of Uli Jon Roth 's band Dawn Road and became a member of the Scorpions along with Roth and Francis Buchholz. He appeared on the album Fly to the Rainbow before leaving the band to do his compulsory service with the army.

Jürgen Rosenthal (* 28. Juli 1949 in Rosengarten) ist ein deutscher Schlagzeuger. Bekannt wurde er insbesondere durch seine Mitgliedschaft bei den Scorpions und Eloy.
Soon after, Jürgen Rosenthal had to leave as he was drafted into the army. In 1976, he joined German progressive rock band Eloy recording three albums. He was replaced in July 1974 by Jürgen Fechter.
Rosenthal left after the recording of Fly to the Rainbow, being replaced first by Jürgen Fechter and later by Rudy Lenners, who performed on In Trance and Virgin Killer. In 1977, Lenners was replaced by Herman Rarebell, whose first recording with the band was Taken by Force.
