The LIU Post Pioneers (also Long Island–Post Pioneers and formerly the C.W. Post Pioneers) were the athletic teams that represented the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, located in Brookville, New York, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports through the 2018–19 school year.
Ron Stonitsch remains the cross country program’s only NCAA Division II National Champion. He won the title with a time of 24:53 in 1969. Susanne Vistnes holds the LIU Post women’s soccer career records for points (166) and goals (67). Her 32 assists are second on the all-time list.
Carlee Dragon holds the LIU Post field hockey career goals record with 82. Shannon Rideout became the first student-athlete in LIU Post women’s swimming history to qualify for the NCAA Division II National Championships in 2006. Since 2005, the LIU Post football team holds a record of 9-2 on Homecoming.
