Wentworth is an Australian television drama series. It was first broadcast on SoHo on 1 May 2013, and it concluded on Fox Showcase with its 100th episode on 26 October 2021. The series serves as a contemporary reimagining of Prisoner , which ran on Network Ten from 1979 to 1986.

Sinopsis. La serie se centra en el centro de detención Wentworth y en cómo sus reclusas, oficiales y abogados deben enfrentar día con día sus problemas. Algunas de las historias se centran en Bea Smith y que es encerrada en espera de juicio por el intento de asesinato de su marido y debe aprender cómo es la vida en la cárcel.
