The Pop Group are an English rock band formed in Bristol in 1977 by vocalist Mark Stewart, guitarist John Waddington, bassist Simon Underwood, guitarist/saxophonist Gareth Sager, and drummer Bruce Smith.
British post-punk band from Bristol, England, formed in 1978 and disbanded 1980. They reformed in 2010. Toured and released a new album in 2014 and 2015. Further reissue material released from 2016 onwards. The Pop Group's line-up was: Gareth Sager. Mark Stewart.
