Agathe Snow (French pronunciation: [aɡatə snɔ:]; née Aparru) (born 1976) is an artist based in Long Island, New York. Before moving to Long Island in 2008, she lived and worked in New York City.

Her low-tech approach to two and three-dimensional work involves assemblage of simple items, found objects and detritus, which she transforms using paint, plaster, and fiberglass.

The artist Agathe Snow came of age as a core member of the rough-and-tumble 1990s New York scene that gave us Ryan McGinley , Dan Colen , and her late ex-husband Dash Snow.
Born in Corsica in 1976, Agathe Snow moved to New York at age 11. Brought up amid the Lower East Side’s underground art scene, Snow developed an eclectic practice, which includes and often combines live events, text, sculpture, installation, and painting.
New Yorker Agathe Snow’s approach to art is more a way of life than a studio practice, informed by personal circumstance, travel, current events, counter-culture, and a drive to engage with and stamp her imprint on the world at large.
