Joseph Arthur Sealy (born 16 August 1939) is a Canadian jazz musician. He was awarded the Order of Canada in 2010. [1] [2] Awards. Juno Awards of 1982 - Nominee for Best Jazz Album - Clear Vision. Juno Awards of 1995 - Nominee for Best Contemporary Jazz Album - Joe Sealy & Paul Novotny Dual Vision.
16 de jul. de 2007 · Sealy has written scores and/or songs for TV and film, and several themes for jazz group. Of the latter, Sealy has recorded Early Morning Blues, Dumpling, Clear Vision, Playa Caliente, Fat Cat and Distant Shores.
20 de feb. de 2020 · Joe Sealy’s role as a fixture on the Canadian jazz scene started in his hometown of Montreal, but his status grew after heading east. Instead of heading for Toronto or the U.S., Sealy relocated to Halifax in January of 1967 and got busy on local stages, radio and T.V. shows.
