LUNA SEA （ルナシー）は、 日本 の5人組 ロックバンド [2] 。 概要. 1989年 結成。 1992年に メジャーデビュー し、 2000年 に終幕（解散）を宣言し一度解散したが、 2010年 に活動を再開した。 RYUICHI のみ 神奈川県 大和市 出身、残りの4人は全員 神奈川県 秦野市 出身。 2003年 に HMV が発表した「Top 100 Japanese pops Artists」に選ばれる [3] 。 バンド名. LUNA SEA とは「 月 と 海 」という意味である（LUNAは ラテン語 SEAは 英語 である）。 インディーズ 時代は、狂気という意味の LUNACY と言うバンド名であった。
