John Britt Daniel (born April 14, 1971) is an American musician. He is the co-founder, lead singer and guitarist of the indie rock band Spoon, as well as the co-founder, guitarist, bassist, and singer of the band Divine Fits. Daniel also founded numerous other bands in the early 1990s.

11 de feb. de 2022 · Britt Daniel wanted to bring a back-to-basics grit to Spoon’s 10th album, Lucifer on the Sofa. This was in part inspired by the touring cycle behind 2017’s Hot Thoughts, where the act steadily stripped down the synth-and-ambient-sax-driven polish of their most experimental set of tunes in favor of an in-the-flesh rawness.
