While touring with Nine Inch Nails and following the conclusion of the Wave Goodbye Tour, Rubin worked on his second album, Speak Through The White Noise, which was released in April 2011. Before this, Ilan released a free single titled 'Remission Of Guilt' through his website.
By the time you read this, Speak Through The White Noise will be pricking ears with its infectious hooks, thought-provoking lyrics, and naturally fat grooves and tasty drum licks. Not bad considering the album’s inauspicious beginnings.

These are all accomplishments of the young Ilan Rubin. But he’s more than a great drummer. Despite having participated in all this projects, he still found the time to venture into making a solo album and even recording all of the instruments and vocals by himself.

‘Speak Through The White Noise’ is a peculiar album to say the least. It’s massively ambitious yet frustratingly inconsistent, brimming with ideas but not always allowing them to reach their full potential.
