La Universidad Victoria en Wellington (en maorí Te Whare Wānanga o te Ūpoko o te Ika a Māui) fue fundada en 1897 por Acta del Parlamento de Nueva Zelanda e incorporada como parte de la Universidad de Nueva Zelanda. Victoria University of Wellington (Māori: Te Herenga Waka) is a public research university in Wellington, New Zealand. It was established in 1897 by Act of Parliament, and was a constituent college of the University of New Zealand.
Founded in 1897, Victoria University of Wellington is a global-civic university located in the heart of New Zealand’s vibrant capital city. At its three central campuses, the University offers more than 170 different subjects, with 33 undergraduate and 39 postgraduate programmes, from pathway to PhD, across eight teaching faculties.
