The Human Beinz ( / ˈbiːɪnz / BEE-inz) is an American rock band from Youngstown, Ohio. Originally known as The Premiers, the band initially featured John Richard "Dick" Belley (vocals, guitar), Joe "Ting" Markulin (vocals, guitar), Mel Pachuta (vocals, bass), and Gary Coates (drums), later replaced by Mike Tatman.

The history of making the record, as told by Ting Markulin, THE HUMAN BEINZ. In the spring of 1967 " THE HUMAN BEIN G Z " were signed to a recording contract by Capitol Records and were scheduled to record at Cleveland Recording studio in the summer of 1967. When we signed the contracts, our name was misspelled "THE HUMAN BEINZ".

The Human Beingz actually began in 1964, when the original members - Mel Pachuta, Gary Coates, Dick Belley and Ting Markulin - all from the Youngstown, Ohio area, ended up in the same group known as "The Premiers."
