Silent Cries and Mighty Echoes is the seventh studio album by the German rock band Eloy, released in 1979. It is a concept album written by Jürgen Rosenthal, dealing with the transcendence of human existence through spirituality.

Silent cries and mighty echoes from 1979 is a very strong Eloy album, among the best from them, close to a masterpice but not as good as the predecesor Ocean. Here we have on some pieces and is not something new about Eloy's music, floydian atmospehere, spacey guitars and keybords.
