Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) The B.A. program provides the intellectual discipline of biophysics and biochemistry for students who wish to have sufficient time for in-depth studies outside the major or who are interested in molecular biology as part of a liberal education and may not wish to go on to graduate work in any of the natural sciences.

  6. The Department of Computer Science offers both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts majors in Computer Science and a combined Bachelor’s / Master’s program. It also offers joint majors with the Departments of Economics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Psychology.

  7. Undergraduate Studies in Spanish. The major in Spanish is a liberal arts major that offers a wide range of courses in the language, literatures, and cultures of the twenty Spanish-speaking countries in Europe and Latin America.
