Dirty Rotten Imbeciles (often abbreviated and referred to as D.R.I.) is an American crossover thrash band that formed in Houston in 1982 and would later relocate to San Francisco. The band is currently composed of two of its founding members, lead vocalist Kurt Brecht and guitarist Spike Cassidy, as well as bassist Greg Orr and drummer Rob Rampy.

Was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, but eventually made a full recovery. In late January 2012, he was admitted back into an undisclosed hospital, suffering from complications from colectomy surgery.

Historia. D.R.I se formaron el 2 de mayo de 1982 en la ciudad de Houston, Texas. La alineación inicial consistía de Spike Cassidy (guitarra), Kurt Brecht (voz), Eric Brecht (batería) y Dennis Johnson (bajo). El grupo empezó a tocar en la casa de los padres de Kurt y Eric.
