7 de dic. de 2019 · Stella Barker, Sarah-Jane Owen, Miranda Joyce, Penny Leyton, and Judy Parsons formed a new group, The Belle Stars and recruited Lesley Shone and Jenny Matthais for good measure, performing (without a name) for the first time on Christmas Day 1980!
In 1984, Sarah Jane Owen and Penny Leyton formed the all-female ska band, The Deltones, who released an album and two singles on Unicorn Records in 1989. The group disbanded in 1991. Dakar has performed in Skaville UK, alongside former Bad Manners members Martin Stewart and Louis Alphonso.
17 de nov. de 2020 · Keyboard player Penny Leyton left the band late in the year, to be replaced on saxophone and keyboards by Clare Hirst. When the third single, the radio-friendly “Another Latin Love Song” again failed to break into the charts, the band tried cover versions instead, with some success.
