Isabella Mary Abbott (December 23, 1890 – November 26, 1955) was a Canadian artist and the mother of actor Christopher Plummer. Life. Abbott was born in Quebec City, the daughter of Marianne J. (Campbell) and Arthur Edward Abbott, and the granddaughter of Prime Minister Sir John Abbott.

He was the only child of John Orme Plummer (1894–1977), who sold stocks and other securities, and Isabella Mary Abbott, who worked as secretary to the Dean of Sciences at McGill University, and was the granddaughter of Canadian prime minister Sir John Abbott.
When Isabella Mary Abbott was born on 23 December 1890, in Senneville, Jacques-Cartier, Quebec, Canada, her father, Arthur Edward Abbott, was 27 and her mother, Mary Anne Jane Campbell, was 24. She married John Orme Plummer in 1929, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
