Other Voices, Too (A Trip Back to Bountiful) was a 1998 album by Nanci Griffith. It was her thirteenth studio album. Following on from the Grammy Award winning album Other Voices, Other Rooms, Other Voices, Too (A Trip Back to Bountiful) is a second album of cover songs written by a wide variety of singer/songwriters.
Another Sixties folk classic is Ian Tyson's Summer Wages. Tom Russell does lead vocals, with Ms. Griffith and another 60s folk figure Carolyn Hester doing the backup vocals. Béla Fleck is heard subtly in the arrangement playing banjo. <<>>. Canadian Whiskey is the converse to Summer Wages.

I am still captivated by Nanci's deft handling of these classic songs. To my ears she treats them with a true fondness for the material. The accompanyment by friends only adds to the enjoyment.
