Jouko Tapani ”Jimi” Sumén (s. 1959 [2] ) on suomalainen Lappeenrannasta kotoisin oleva muusikko ja tuottaja. [3] Hän voitti yhtyeensä Dreamsin kanssa Rockin SM-kilpailut vuonna 1977 soittamalla Jimi Hendrix -covereita, muun muassa tämän sävellyksen ”Fire” sekä Hendrixin ensimmäisen hitin ” Hey Joe ”.
Finnish guitarist and vocalist born on August 7, 1959. Started his career as a heavy metal guitarist in the later half of the 1970s. His first solo album full of guitar-driven funk was released in 1978. In the early 1980s he became interested in synth-pop and founded his own synth-pop band Jimi Sumén Projekt.
