Steven Victor Tallarico (born March 26, 1948), known professionally as Steven Tyler, is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the Boston -based rock band Aerosmith, in which he also plays the keyboards, harmonica and percussion.
The album also features Aerosmith's Steven Tyler on "Happiness and Misery," where he plays the harmonica. The album peaked at #17 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Steven Tyler announced on VH1 Classic Radio on September 4, 2008, that Aerosmith intended to enter the studio at the end of September 2008 to complete the band's 15th studio album. Tyler also confirmed that the band planned to begin a new US tour in June 2009, in support of the as-yet-untitled album.
