Here Bergander talks with Modern Drummer about the new record, studio sounds, and more. MD: How would you say Celebration’s sound has evolved since your last record, Albumin?
David Bergander is a versatile drummer known for his work with the Baltimore-based psychedelic indie/soul band Celebration, which he joined in 2004. His creative drumming style is a key component of Celebration’s sound, especially evident on their album “Wounded Healer,” where his unique drum tones complement the band’s ethereal melodies.
The band's all-star line-up on this recording consists of singer/songwriter Rob Wilson, Arbouretum's Dave Heumann, Celebration's David Bergander and Walker Teret, with additional performances by Tony Drummond. In 2010 the band also began recording Pieces of Eight with old friend Rob Girardi at Lord Baltimore Recording.

Anywhere I Lay My Head is the debut studio album by American actress and singer Scarlett Johansson, released on May 16, 2008 by Atco Records.She recorded it over five weeks in spring 2007 at Dockside Studios in Maurice, Louisiana.
