Bellowhead is an English contemporary folk band, active from 2004 to 2016, reforming in 2020. The eleven-piece act played traditional dance tunes, folk songs and shanties , with arrangements drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical styles and influences.
Umbrellowhead is a collection of songs from other bands that the eleven members of Bellowhead also play in as well as some solo material from the individual artists. The album opens with one previously unreleased Bellowhead song.

Consisting of music made by members of Bellowhead under a variety of different guises (hence the cute name), the album brushes cheekily against an eclectic array of traditional and popular music styles from across the world.
Umbrellowhead is a 14 track compilation made up of music from the other projects of the Bellowhead band members. The album opens with an excellent and wonderfully titled unreleased Bellowhead track, ’Unclothed Nocturnal Manuscript Crisis’.
